Sounds like a James Bond film!

Seems that an attempt to kill a Russian double agent who spied for us with an unknown substance, in the leafy suburbs of Wiltshire as occurred.

Very dodgy stuff!

I'm blaming Cedric. Boris isn't best pleased and has threated to tell him off

Nothing will ever be done to stop rich people giving money to the Tories.

Makes you wonder what is really going on doesn't it?

Do you think Labour receive donations from rich people?

Yes but not on anything like the same scale. It would be much fairer if donations from individuals and corporations were restricted to relatively small amounts and donations from abroad were banned. Since that would immediately bankrupt the Tories it will certainly never happen.

Labour do get lotsa dosh from Union subscriptions, Tories mainly from private individuals and corporations. Somewhere above £7000 and a bit has to be declared. It's pretty much neck and neck and there have been a few occasions where Labour have raised more than the Tories, recently as 2011, 2012 and 2013 with 2016 the last year that Labour got more. As with the International Aid Budget, the monies gathered by pollies do tend to be viewed as slush funds. Still, if it wasn't done this way, they'd probably tax us poor buggers more to pay for it.
All these Oligarchs living in the UK seem to be common targets of Russian government and/or Mafia gang bosses. Even Obramovich (Sp) isn't safe, so a few bob chucked in the treasury coffers probably ensures greater protection.

So you're basically saying that it's ok for Labour to accept donations because they take less than the Tories?

Labour probably take less because less people see them as a party ready to govern.

Your stance is ridiculous. Either donations are a good thing or a bad thing. Once again your anti-Tory bollocks has made you look like a knob.

You really are an idiot. Try actually reading what I say. I said "It would be much fairer if donations from individuals and corporations were restricted to relatively small amounts and donations from abroad were banned." Small donations from people who live in the UK are a good thing. Unlimited donations from rich foreign crooks are a bad thing. Is that clear enough for you?
