How much does Doffcocker want? I'm willing to give anyone a go at this point. Parky has lost the team. Can't imagine how incensed KA is after losing the last four.Natasha Whittam wrote:It's all about the here and now. I'd install you as manager if I thought it would keep us up. Worry about next season in August.

We might as well go down and rebuild.
You idiot. You'd rather go down and "rebuild" than stay up and struggle again next year?
If we go down I fully expect us to be a National League side by 2022.
If we don't go down this season, there's a good chance we will next season regardless of who the manager is. Without some investment in players, swapping and changing managers in hope of getting some "new manager bounce" is just delaying the inevitable.
Agreed.

Personally we should bin Parkinson and let one of the "Senior" players like Wheater take over for the last games. I am sure that he would have more of a clue which players in the squad can get the two results we need to have a chance of staying up.

True but if we stay up there will be another £5 to £10 million income which will either show up as an improved squad or reduced debt - both of which would put us in a better position as a club and with more chance of Anderson being willing to sell to someone with real money.T.R.O.Y wrote:doffcocker wrote:Natasha Whittam wrote:doffcocker wrote:And invariably be in the same predicament this time next year?

Like ken Anderson is going to use any cash on the squad.
