President Macron - the new world leader?

He's wowed the French voters to become their President (with a newly created party as well!) in next to no time, pushed ahead of a failing Merkel and a woeful May to become the voice of Europe and now charmed and out manoeuvred Trump in his own back yard, to make his views known.

All highly impressive moves in themselves.

Seems to have it all.

Is he going to be the greatest living statesman of our time?

Or does he not count because he's only French?

He's treading on toes and does indeed look like he's doing his "Napolean" for shits and giggles. He not only has to keep in line with the EU, his own folk and French overseas territories he also has to look after French interests such as finance and industry. Once Frau Merkel wakes up she'll no doubt grab the reins back and send the French upstart back to his kennel.  I did find his and Trump's groping of each other a tad vomit inducing but as long as he doesn't snog our dear PM when he comes here, it'll be reet. Sacre Bleu!

Wonder how  Trump marks Mrs May out of ten? Hope he won't be staying at the Palace. Mattress stains are hell to shift.
