Kudos Sluffy... and thanks to you and all the mods who make the season enjoyable, especially when the play on the pitch may not be so enjoyable. Hopefully a cash infusion and a few new players next season! Here's to a wonderful summer and a drink to all the mods who give tirelessly for our enjoyment.Sluffy wrote:MartinBWFC wrote:We know we are staying up because sluffy said so...

Honestly can' believe that. No one deserved a goal more than Wilbraham. Nearly in tears and still shaking, I need a drink or 10.

Biggest result in my lifetime. Relegated and we’d have been stuck down in league one for a few years. Now this is a fantastic opportunity to push on

I need a lie down in a dark room. After ive paid up what i owe my lad in swear fines. They dont make it easy but weve stayed up and ive won 38 quid that will probably be spent on a nice curry tonight. Win win!DEANO82 wrote:Honestly can' believe that. That Wilbraham header looks better everytime I watch it (up to about 57 now) to angle it into that corner from there takes some doing or he has a 50p head.

That was just about perfect.
Every credit to the majority of the team, there were some HUGE performances. Wilbraham was absolutely immense, he picked the right day for his best ever game. Little and Robinson never gave up and were up and down the wings for the full 95 minutes, Vela was all over the show, and Le Fondre changed the game when he came on.
Ameobi was fooking useless again, and very lucky to play the full 90 minutes.
We rode our luck, Forest should have been 2-0 up inside 20 minutes, but for once we actually looked like scoring when we went forward.
The crowd were superb, but the people who left when Forest went 2-1 up must be feeling very foolish right about now.

You bitch.
When the equaliser went in they soon came running back to my box. And when the winner went in, my box was as full as its ever been.
