No I didn't forget at all - I did it deliberately and these are the reasons why I did so.
Fwiw I had previously posted up a article From George Bower back in December 2016 and corresponded with him the reasons why I had not credited his work - which he obviously found acceptable.
In a further correspondence in September 2017, he commentated that he did not want to be involved in debating his comments on the club if it led to potential abuse of him.
Accordingly I kept the anonymity I clearly thought he wanted, when I posted his financial comments in April this year.
I even went to the trouble of explaining my action to him with reference to our previous correspondence on these matters when he tweeted that I had 'plagiarised' him.
He did not respond - although Chris Manning seemed to be under an impression from somewhere that I had sent him a 'grovelling' apology.
I had not.
I think you will find I acted in exactly the same way this April as that I had in previous years, which clearly seemed quite acceptable and caused no concerns to Mr Bower at the time.
I took his non reply to my explanation to him as being his acceptance of that.
