Transfer rumours !

Jonathan Walters (age 34) is leaving Burnley on loan apparently. Could it be to us? Would we be interesting in him returning?

If he does come back make sure the players keep their valuables locked away

Sam Gallagher also looks a decent option but Hughes will want top dollar for a loan so we might not be able to afford him.

...plus a winger or three.

Some of these names being thrown around are embarrassing. None of them are any better than Le Fondre.

I'll say it again, you don't let players go halfway through their contract unless you have a definite replacement ready to come in.

Of those listed i would take Walters, i know he's 34 but he's always been decent (well after he left us anyway).

Seems dependent on selling Dack and they've already turned down a £7million bid - nor do they want to lose him before the loan window closes so it's a self-contradictory story. That said, we'd apparently be looking for £5 million for Vela which would be handy in January.

Well even if this was true we wouldn't be getting the money until January anyway, but if we did it would probably have to go on paying off the BM debt.
