Certainly am.

Looks like the previous away win was not the flash in the pan.

Looking forward to wednesday night now with the thursday booked off work. Smile

Lovely composed finish for the goal. The chance that Wheater made a last ditch tackle, can someone explain what Beevers was trying to do?

It's like watching football porn Deano! Just look at the way Noone passed that ball! Very Happy

I tried an experiment and signed up for Ifollow for one game. Unfortunately you can only get it outside of the UK. However it somewhat worked and I managed to watch 95% of the game.

For good portions of the first half we were the better team. Then after the goal we did the usual and sat back to invite them on. Notice we scored the goal with a pass through the middle....rest of it was hoof.  Lads worked very hard though.....well dun.

I could only assume that it would be due to your connection speed.

I believe between the US and UK etc there is no problem speed wise between servers unlike the UK and Asia where for example Thailand has two speeds which are internal and rest of the world which I find odd.

Glad you got to watch the majority of it though Terence! Smile

Another great result, the exciting thing for me is that the eleven wearing the shirt are most likely not  any were near our strongest team.

You would at some point expect Oz, Sammy and Yanick all to post serious claims for a start, in defence question marks still over Beevers and Taylor and hopefully a few more to come in before we face Preston.

Great start and the current crop of fixtures offer a real chance to make a statement.

It was an excellent defensive performance apart from Beevers slack incident but we offered very little in terms of possession or consistent attacking, but that in itself is an improvement on last season. The recruits have slotted in nicely to Parky's system and without doubt we are much harder to score against the we were. If we can keep that up all season we should have no problem surviving and we may cause a few more upsets along the way.
i think the issue is that we spent most of the game in two banks of four/five deep in our own territory and were forced to put in a lot of last ditch tackles to keep them out. We had very few options for a get out ball and by and large it came straight back. So how far will parky go down the road of introducing more creativity e.g. Oztumer at the expense of having a rock solid defensive shape?

Don't like the way Sky have cut the highlights. Though I wasn't there, from the GMR' commentary it didn't seem like all Reading and one opening for Bolton.

However, great three points no matter how we've acheive them

Ignoring the fact you didn't go, you talk like we're bottom of the league and need to change things. There is ZERO chance of Parky introducing more attacking players when we're 5th in the league.

Ca't you go on Norwich's website and spout your bollocks about games you haven't seen?

Nat’s right. Playing defensively is our strength - especially away from home. It’s also Parky’s style of play. Nonsense to expect him to change the way he’s played his entire management career.

On holiday so didn’t catch the game, sounds like another perfect away performance. Get a striker in before the window shuts and we’re flying.

Went to the game and thoroughly enjoyed our very competent performance. Parky has generated a togetherness and determination all over the pitch which is great to see. Some very good players have been recruited and long balls forward were delivered only when necessary. The rest of the time, we played some neat football. The tactics and organisation were ideal.  We never looked like losing.

We were pushed back towards the end as Reading got desperate, but were never really threatened because our defenders almost always got a foot in, or harassed Reading into errors. On the rare occasions that he was called upon, Alnwick was excellent.

My only criticism would be that Noone would produce more crosses for our handful of a striker if he played on the left.....but what a pass for the goal and great anticipation and pace from Wildchut (Sp?)

A really promising performance. No one played poorly, and the subs were attacking ones.

You make me laugh the way you bang on about attending the match when I can and did watch the whole thing live from the comfort of my armchair - as I have watched every game this season and most of the games last season - unlike the fairweather supporters and traitors like you.
Lots of people have mentioned playing Oztumer and I merely pointed out the dilemma Parky has i.e. including him for more creativity would be at the expense of a very solid defensive shape. Try engaging your brain before opening your legs mouth Smile

Who suggested you are a drain on the club? Your £15 a game covers the cost of Brickfeet's little toe for which we are all eternally grateful. Well apart from Bonce that is. Smile

Beevers and Buckley were the only two that put a downer on the performance, Beevers in particular is a disaster in waiting meaning Wheater works overtime, I'd have Hobbs in for him and definitely Wilschut for Buckley.

More top predicting from me following my preference for France after the group stage and the more confident "France will win the trophy because they have better players than everyone else " after the quarter final.

Fantastic that our away wins have been I don't see a team that can be successful at home in our squad, I think 1 point from 6 this week.Nevertheless i can't praise Parky highly enough for assembling such a good away side from free transfers rejected by other Championship clubs. This is the most  Bolton have overacheived relative to the expenditure since Owen Coyle had us 6th in March 2011 when Holden got maimed
