Ahead of tomorrow's game against Leeds United in the Sky Bet Championship, bwfc.co.uk looks back in history at some of the players who have turned out for both sides.
El-Hadji Diouf

The former Senegalese international spent four years at Wanderers from 2004 to 2008.
Initially coming in on loan from Liverpool, he was top scorer with nine goals in his first season at Bolton, before signing permanently for the club in the summer of 2005.
He scored the Whites' first ever goal in a European competition against Lokomotiv Plovdiv in the UEFA Cup.
In 2012, he joined Leeds United on a non-contract deal. The former two-time African Footballer of the Year spent two years at Elland Road, where he made 52 appearances.
Andy Lonergan

Lonergan moved to the West Yorkshire side in 2011, leaving his boyhood club Preston North End.
In his single season at Elland Road, the experienced shot stopper made 38 appearances for the club before signing for Bolton in July 2012.
From there, Lonergan spent three seasons at the University of Bolton Stadium.
Injuries restricted his impact to begin with, but he hit his stride in the 2014/15 season with 32 games under his belt for the Whites.
Luke Murphy

Murphy played in over 160 games for the Cheshire based outfit before joining Leeds United in 2013 for a fee believed to be over £1million.
And while at Elland Road, he made over a century of appearances and enjoyed two loan spells with Burton Albion before leaving the Yorkshire side on August 1.
And after leaving Leeds this summer, he joined the Whites on a two-year deal.
Gary Speed MBE

Speed started off in the Leeds United youth ranks in 1984. He made his professional debut for them in 1988 aged 19 against Oldham Athletic.
During his eight-year stay at Elland Road, Speed won the Football League Second Division in 1989/90, in addition to the First Division crown in 1991/92.
Moreover, Speed was named in the PFA Team of the Year in 1993.
The former Welsh international joined Bolton Wanderers from Newcastle United in July 2004. During this time, he became the first player to make over 500 Premier League appearances.
Speed made 131 appearances for the Whites during his tenure with the club, before moving to Sheffield United in January 2008.
Andy O’Brien

Former Republic of Ireland centre back Andy O'Brien had a four-year stint in a Wanderers shirt from 2007 to 2010.
O’Brien made appearances in the UEFA Cup, captaining the side against Sporting Lisbon in the competition.
After picking up a hamstring injury whilst at Bolton however, O’Brien moved out on loan to Leeds United.
Returning to the club where he began his career, the defender then signed a permanent deal with them in January 2011 and made over 30 appearances during this stretch of his career.
Michael Ricketts

In July 2000, Ricketts joined the Trotters from Walsall for a fee in the region of £400,000.
In his first season at the club, the striker shot onto the scene by scoring 24 goals in 47 appearances, earning the Whites promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs.
Furthermore, Ricketts earned a call-up to the England national side, making his debut against the Netherlands in 2002.
In June 2004, the forward signed for United on a free transfer and made 40 appearances over two seasons, scoring two goals.
Will Buckley

The wide man had a brief spell in the White Rose county at United. He made four appearances whilst on loan from Sunderland, one of those a substitute appearance against Wanderers in a 1-1 draw.
The Whites then signed the midfielder on a free transfer in June 2017 on a two-year deal.
Since making his debut for the Trotters against Saturday’s opponents back in August of that season, he has made 42 outings for Phil Parkinson’s men, scoring four goals.
Jermaine Beckford

The Jamaican international joined Leeds in 2006 from Wealdstone. After a couple of seasons settling in, he hit his stride in 2007/08 where he scored 20 goals in 47 games.
From there, his eye for the goal only got greater as he grabbed 65 goals in 94 appearances in the final two years of his stay at Elland Road.
He moved to Bolton in July 2013, where he managed 11 goals in 51 matches before moving to Preston North End permanently in 2015.
Scott Sellars

Sellars started his career off in West Yorkshire with Leeds in 1983. In a three-year stay, the winger made over 80 appearances for the club before joining Blackburn Rovers in July 1986.
Joining Bolton from Newcastle United in March 1993, Sellars made over 100 appearances with 20 goals coming from the former England Under-21 international.
