I expect us to at least know whether the deal involves us remaining in the customs union as that seems to be a red line for the Labour party. However with Corbyn involved who knows?

I think this is one red line that  will be the stumbling block, however May is getting more erratic in her behavior, so it wouldn't surprise me if she gave in to this demand. She's sold out a lot of the principles she was supposed to be defending, so another one may not make much difference to her.

We  didn't vote for a deal ffs how many times.

You know what you voted for but not every leave voter wanted the same thing.

Hardly surprising when Daniel Hannan, the Tory MEP who is often described as the “godfather of Brexit” repeatedly assured voters that Britain would not leave the single market if they voted to leave the EU.

“Absolutely nobody is talking about threatening our place in the single market,” he said.

Owen Paterson, a Tory MP and a prominent campaigner for Vote Leave made similar claims.

“Only a madman would actually leave the market,” Mr Paterson said.

Following the referendum Oliver Norgrove, a former Vote Leave staffer, who supports staying in the single market, urged people to check the official campaign’s website and official literature – noting that the things they had campaigned for were “utterly achievable in the EEA and make no mention at all of leaving the single market”.

Well obviously.

They're a one issue party.

So what exactly are they going to do if elected and if we leave?

Yep, just thought it was important to clarify your point. Not particularly impressive they’re ahead in a poll for European elections is it?

I think it's quite impressive considering they were set up a few days ago and we've been told for 3 years 24 hours a day that the public mood has changed.

Leavers would vote for any party who come out with forceful leave rhetoric - they only care about one issue remember.

Being impressed by that just highlights your own low standards in my opinion.

The sdp and UKIP have a "strong leave rhetoric" as well and barely make a blip.

There are no "standards" in politics anymore.

Ye one party whose base has collapsed and another who never had one.

If you’re comparing against them then yes, seriously impressive stuff from Nige.

But you said leavers would vote for anyone with a strong leave rhetoric. So that's not true is it.
