Where's your vote going? Will it be someone dripping with self interest and corruption in a blue rosette or someone dripping with self interest and corruption in a red rosette.

We don't have elections here sadly.

Hopefully this is a blood bath for the Tory's.

Tower Hamlets has declared already.

Labour have held the seats with 3.1 million votes and a turnout of 157%.

I've not lived in Bolton for nearly 12 years so not really in the know what's been going on locally, but i do know a lot of people were extremely fed up of the current council. May be worse now with no one in overall control though?

You could be right but it can stop labour doing as they please.

It was an appalling night for them. They should have been picking up 300/400 seats nationally and instead they're about 85 down so far.
I think the Corbyn effect is more pervasive then pundits imagined.

It's good that the smaller parties are picking up votes. The big bloated parties funded by dodgy millionaires and self interested union bosses represent no one.

The gains by LDs are nothing more than the result of protest votes. Its a free chance to show the polticians that everyone is pissed off with them.
The next opportunity will be the European elections, when the Brexit Party makes strong gains.
Once the general Election comes along, things will take a more serious turn. The only problem is that most of the muppets who have already cocked up Brexit, will continue to stand.

Good to see the Greens make gains. Looks as if Labour need to take a definitive stance on brexit now- soft, minimal damage Brexit would be my position.

Unbelievably bad night for the Tories though, May has managed to alienate most of the country by the look of it.
