True, very little gravitas, but there again, Hunt has no character. Its like the last American presidential election, nobody really wanted either to win.

I'd give my eye teeth for Yvette Cooper to take over. I've always admired her for her honesty and foresight.

Watching the head to head the other night, at one point we had two Tory big hitters trying to out do each other on who was the most socialist lol. In terms of who would be most helpful to the working man/woman. Tax breaks for us mere mortals lol rather than Boris making cuts for the top earners. This after both of them having been part of a cabinet that shafted the working man with austerity cuts for the last 9 years. Magical.

I only saw a bit of it but Johnson was a nightmare, never let Hunt get a word in and kept interrupting him. I still fail to see how the majority of people think this clown will make a good PM!
It's that bad that i actually hope Hunt will win and i work for the NHS!

Boris should take a large bottle of mouthwash with him to his next meeting with Snowflake Trump, to continue licking Trumps unstable orange Árse. Trumps colourful use of metaphors to describe people he doesnt like, such as " douchebag ", " pussy " and " dumbfuck ", they make him a sort of latter day Wordsworth. His Grammar would put him in line for Poet Laureate.
( I am being tongue-in-cheek here, and no pun intended ).

I like Boris but he’s let himself down by his response to Darroch and Trump. I know he gets on well with Trump but I can’t help but wonder if he’ll become Trumps lapdog, in order to keep our trade options open. This was an easy opportunity to show our mettle, instead it makes the U.K. look weak.

Somehow Johnson has been built up as a great orator-he's not! He burbles incoherently.
If we add this lack of lucidity to the poverty of his detailed planning, his shameless bullying, lying, lack of empathy for the ordinary folk, philandering and sheer empty-headedness, we have a picture of the worst PM there could ever be.....not forgetting his cabinet and mayoral failures, the thuggery that Eddie Mair exposed and his dangerous willingness to cede to the madman in the White House!!
Mind you, the competition's not great!

Hunt lost me when he brought fox hunting back into the news.
Despite his many faults, I'd rather have Boris.

Forgot to mention his clear racist tendencies, comparing Muslim women to letter-boxes and bank robbers, (great for race-relations in the UK!)....and his disastrous lack of diplomacy which led to Nazanin Ratcliffe having her sentence increased! How is he getting away with all this?!
I would have thought that his part in the plans to have two men beaten up would alone have brought criminal charges, but since then his further blunders as London mayor, MP., cabinet member and worthwhile human being have also been "criminal".
I love the way he takes the credit for the London Olympics!!
He will continue to be a buffoon and a walking embarrassment, but he is more dangerous than that, especially as an ally of Trump. Other countries think we have lost our minds.
Agree with Nat that Jeremy Hunt has done himself no favours with his views on fox-hunting.....except in the eyes of some of the Nasty Party involved in the casting of votes for future PM.

I read this..... if you want to know a man's true character... give him power.... Abe Lincoln.

The only trouble is that we are all going to live with the consequences of giving a self serving dishonest buffoon power.

Hi Glos.
Yes that description could describe Corbyn too!
However I would choose Corbyn as the lesser of two evils.

I wouldn't call Corbyn the lesser of two evils by any stretch of the imagination he seriously is the bottom of the pit of evil.

Theresa M says being PM should be about service, not power. For once, she is right.....

Boris Johnson is the PG Tips Monkey. If I want to watch Vaudeville theatrics I will put a 1920`s movie on.

Genuinely concerned for anyone who thinks Boris has the credentials to lead the country. Literally nothing suggests he’s capable of it. Purely based around his perceived views on Brexit, time for both sides to move on now and think about policies

He shouldn't have said the letterbox thing but it isn't racist.
Also the Radcliffe thing is a nonsense. It's quite nauseating to see all these politicians feigning sympathy to score political points. SNP in particular.
What we should be doing is telling Iran to fucking release her now or well fucking come and get her out.
Boris is not responsible for despotic regimes.
