Back where?

just been listening to The Good The Bad And The Ugly soundtrack by the late Ennio Morricone. One of my favourite films and the music, especially this piece, stands up on its own, incredible stuff!

Another great new band i've stumbled on.

I like this band Mr Pig. First became aware of them when someone played me this.

You should get the album Boncey its very good.

I might get rid of my 78's.

They're meant to be playing a gig in Manchester in November i think? You'll have to come with me and stop me being the oldest there

Just to drag things back into the early 70s for a minute....
Saw this band a few times and Roger Chapman's voice stuck with me like a recurring bad dream...

Remember them well Lusty. Always listened to the John Peel show as a young man, and I was delighted to find quite a few old episodes on Fourble. It's like a time machine.

I've always been a massive Family fan Lusty. The first proper live concert I ever went to (i.e. excluding the likes of Gravy Train, live at Bolton School) was Family at The Free Trade Hall in about 1972. Still regularly play the CD's. It seemed so surreal at the time to see them on TOTP with Chapman screeching out the lyrics to "The Weaver's Answer" accompanied by a dancing Dolly Bird.

Remember seeing this lot about the same time at the old Bolton Drill Hall on Silverwell Street, and rather excellent they were too. Seem to remember I was wearing my new full length grey RAF trenchcoat for the 1st time. (Don't tell anybody).

Not sure if we're a similar age or not - but our paths may have crossed.

New song from The Staves, amazing harmonies as usual. Love these girls!

 You will love The Staves Boncey, been to see them live about 6 times now and they are just amazing! The harmonies are incredible.
