If we wish to split hairs, you never used the words  Sluffy has inferred, and its his own interpretation that is really the more offensively displayed. I bet he's still complaining that John Thomas should have changed his name all those years ago.

Do we allow gay jokes. racist or other such jokes on here - no we don't.

Was Wanderlust even banned for doing it - no he received a warning.

Sluffy for someone who claims not to take the internet seriously you do the complete opposite. The site has been busier than for ages recently and you seem hell bent on stopping that with your ranting.

No I didn't ban them for that.

The ban was for the game that was being played that had to be stopped.

The site's been much busier since the game playing has finally been ended.

Wanderlust is a different case entirely but has been equally as corrosive to the site over time.

By and large he's been fine since his return but (I assume after drinking) late last night he decided to post what he did.

It was not acceptable on this site - it never has been - that's why the site's been largely free of such racist, homophobic and other such types of posts since we started about eight or so years ago.

Why would anyone in this day and age even want to post what he did???

If you or anyone else had posted it I would have done exactly the same as I did.

As far as I'm concerned people should be asking him why he posted what he did rather than be on my back for warning him anymore would not be tolerated.

I've certainly not ashamed of anything of what I do on this site.

And you've questioned me about taking the internet seriously - I don't but what seems to confuse you and others is that I do take Nuts seriously in so much that someone has to keep it steered in the right direction otherwise it just wouldn't work - someone has to take some semblance of control when things get out of hand.

I'm not anyone's friend on here nor do I hate anyone either.  I let most things go and some people, a few, have taken advantage of that over time.

I wouldn't let anybody post a racist joke, I wouldn't let anyone post an anti-Semitic one so what's the big hoo-ha over me warning someone 'no more or else..' over a homophobic one???

If I heard it down the pub or on the terrace, I'd ignore it and move away from those who said it but you simply can't do that on a forum, you either let it go and thus condone it (which I don't) or you say 'people who visit the site do not want to hear that stuff anymore, so no more or else'.

So yes, I do take the running of Nuts to be serious in so far that I want everyone to enjoy it the best I can.  And, in theory at least, I believe I'm accountable in law for the comments make on here and as far as I'm concerned by removing such posts or moderating/warning the people who do them, then I'm simply protecting myself which any sane person would do.

I wasn't playing a game. I disagreed with you and challenged your view that all politicians were the same. You then banned me.
