Beating Man City in the League Cup 3rd round in 1971. 42,000 plus inside Burnden, most of us shouting vile abuse at Franny Lee. Lives long in the memory of anyone there.

Remember that bonce, another from the past i'd choose would be a league cup replay v Liverpool in the 60s, we won 3-2, we were only teenagers and the build up to the game and then to win was something i'll always remember.

Some great memories the more you read the more you remember.

What a night it was at Burnden when we beat Swindon coming back from the dead, to take our place at Wembley to face Liverpool. Thommo's goal wasn't bad either

Yes I’d forgotten about that game against Swindon Wessy, spoiled earlier with all the rain but what a goal from big Mixu to win it. Another great memory.
