WANDERERS (3-4-1-2)
MATT GILKS…7
Not overworked but came up with a fine fingertip save in the second half to deny Tom Pett and continued to orchestrate proceedings with a constant commentary.
ALEX BAPTISTE…7.5
Solid outing for the experienced defender who saw more of the ball than anyone else and got forward to support Kioso on the right.
RICARDO SANTOS…8
On fire at the moment. The big man picked off anything that got behind Baptiste and Delaney and even treated us to a couple of rampaging runs.
RYAN DELANEY…7
You can argue he might have been fouled in the build-up to the Stevenage goal but it was the one time anyone got around the Irishman on the day.
PETER KIOSO…6.5
Afforded loads of space in the first half and took maximum advantage. Found it tougher going after the break but nevertheless another good show.
ANTONI SARCEVIC…8.5
Gets more attention for his attacking work but it was at the back that he put in a great shift for Bolton at the Lamex, seemingly involved in everything.
ANDY TUTTE…6.5
Knitted things together nicely and while it could be argued he had less of an effect in the second half, Wanderers just look a steadier ship with him in the side.
GETHIN JONES…7.5
Considering the length of time Jones was out, his two shifts against Stevenage and Salford have been nothing short of heroic. Great running in the build-up to the second goal.
ALI CRAWFORD…7
Finally got the goal he has been threatening and sprayed some great passes around too. Seemed to be enjoying himself out there.
EOIN DOYLE…8
Goal was an archetypal Doyle strike but check out his hard work in the build-up to Crawford’s goal and you’ll see his value to the side.
NATHAN DELFOUNESO…6
Got through his fair share of work but it was a fairly quite afternoon for the striker in an attacking sense, where he was always on the fringes.
Subs: Isgrove 78 (for Crawford), Miller 76 (for Delfouneso).
Not used: Crellin, Comley, Mascoll, Greenidge, Darcy.
Stevenage: Cumming; Hulton, Cuthbert, Marhsall, Coker; Iontton, Smith, Read; Carter, Oteh, Pett.
Subs: Newton 46 (for Smith), Marsh 66 (for Carter), Akinwade 81 (for Read).
Not used: Vincelot, Prosser, Johnson.
Referee: will Finnie 5/10.
