There was a massive queue for the beer garden at Sinclairs near Victoria yesterday. are people that desperate to sit outside in the cold just to have a beer?

It doesn't surprise me with the location and size of their beer garden.
The novelty will soon wear off though if it continues with the wintery weather.

There are quite a few pubs round my way that have beer gardens that haven't bothered to open up yet which must be due to the weather.

Our pubs were packed and being in a tourist area they all have outside seating. We’d booked in for a 6.30 meal so took my sons for an early pint whilst the sun was out and then met the missus to eat in what was virtually a car park with heaters. By the time we’d finished felt like going across the road for a final pint but by that time it was freezing and the youngsters had turned out en masse and had taken all the seating and were mixing like Covid didn’t exist so we steered clear.
