Just seen that Mount and Chilwell can't play tonight but none of the Scots are isolating? How can that be right?

Don't get me wrong, if one England player makes a massive cock-up that costs us the trophy it's odds on to be Pickford.
But he's a decent shot stopper to be fair.
As Roy Keane likes to point out, that's a basic requirement of any goalkeeper and they shouldn't be lorded for it. Agree that it's a difficult choice to drop him though especially with a safety first manager.
If we progress to play anyone good they'll be sure test him and our central defense knowing that we're weakest in those areas.

Something to do with the closeness and time the three Chelsea players spent with each other. I read somewhere that they were together in the tunnel for 25 minutes after the match ended.
I guess if you've been in a bubble with your team and him with his then it seems fairly safe to have a chat together (I'm not sure of the protocols though?).
Apparently both the two respective squads have all since been tested negative but to be on the safe side the two English lads have to isolate themselves.

Surprise, surprise! Two fooking holding midfielders at home in a meaningless game!!
The man is taking the piss, I'm convinced it's because all the pundits and media have been telling him to be more attacking. It's the Evans/Crellin situation all over again.

If Southgate can't figure out how to get Kane involved any better than that then we'll most likely go out in the next game. Winning the group hands us a huge challenge against France, Portugal or Germany and from what I've seen so far we've got no chance of progressing against any of them.
That said, win our next game and it's coming home!

I've said on many occasions you were as bad as each other so feel free to check back on that. As i said before the whole sheep shagger thing is just the excuse you needed to ban him as you've been looking to do it for a long time. If you knew he was winding you up why did you feel the need to always answer him?
How can you possibly be so blind to the fact that this is a two way thing and is as much your fault as it is Lusty's. He winds you up because your patronising attitude asks for it and then you reply with insults and so the cycle continues. If bans are being handed out so be it but it needs to include the both of you.

You claim to not care what's said on the internet yet spend hours pulling up people on the smallest little thing and then merrily type 1000 words as a response. You can't stand to be wrong can you?
As for the racial slur it's laughable, are the internet police on their way to arrest Lusty for using the phrase sheep shagger? Are they fuck!
It's your site at the end of the day but i'm not giving you the satisfaction of me leaving. The way things are going you'll end up alone on here arguing with yourself as everyone else will have given up and left.

I thought Saka and Grealish were excellent first half but we sat back second half and seemed happy to sit on a 1-0 lead. We can't do that in the next game against better opposition.
It will be interesting to see if Saka and Grealish start next Tuesday as they deserve to but Southgate has his favourites and will probably put them back on the bench.
As for Scotland

Saka looks a real talent. Kane, on the other hand, is like a gumboil....virtually invisible but painful to experience.....

England continue to frustrate.

Kane is the only world class player we have. In the 3 games so far I can only think of one chance he missed, when he collided with the post against Croatia. There may have been others but it's clear we aren't creating chances for Kane to put away.
Kane has scored bags of goals for Spurs, even in a so-called defensive set up under Mourinho. Southgate needs to play to Kane's strengths and stop this ridiculous two holding central midfielders.
Be bold and be brave Gareth, you get nothing for being cautious.

I thought Kane looked livelier last night, give him the service and he'll score.

No doubt about that. We’ve also got Sterling, Foden, Grealish, Sancho and Bellingham who can provide for him but it’s down to Southgate to make it work. He has the tools.
