Shameful scenes in Serbia

What is it with football fans from eastern Europe ? A lot of them seem to be living in the dark ages. Last night's disgraceful scenes in Serbia should be a wake up call to the football authorities.

It is no good fining clubs for the behaviour of their fans. It's about time whole countries were banned totally from the international football scene until they get their house in order.

English football suffered as a result of our international ban after Heysel so there is no reason why the same penalties should not be enforced. Make them pariahs and they will have to clean up their act.

Shameful it might have been, but it was also bloody funny. I've never seen so many grown men fighting like girls. Only Steve Wigley gave it everything he had.

They should be kicked out of international football altogether, though FIFA don't seem to take that kind of action towards idiots like these. Most probably just a heavy fine and their next game to be played behind closed doors.
