It was much like the performance at Birmingham except we were fortunate tonight that Mark Davies came up with a stunning long-range shot. We saw a lot of the ball but were once again too limited going forward.
KDavies did indeed play at centre half for a short period. He can play there all season for me.

SKD is better at center half than striker ..... I'll start him there and bring in Sordell up front .....then he will be up for corners and free kicks.
As daft as it sounds I suggested SKD at the back years ago ....got laughed off the board at the time.
Maybe Dougie will put him in goal ? ...... I'm open to all ideas.

I also suggested it ages ago, when we were struggling with injuries and he can do a job there. But with Wheater coming back at some stage, and hopefully DF recognising that Ricketts is useful as a CB we should be able to sort out the defensive problems at some stage without spending.

It sounded like a good game and, who knows, if we'd had a decent striker in the squad we could even have won it. The spirit in the side is infinitely better already.

From the looks of it it was Bogdans fault for their second, parried it straight back out into the box.
Did anyone go?

He made a faint impact, but was clumsy as ever. Gave the ball away and squandered a chance or two. The fans were really getting on his back!

Someone needs to get in touch with Wikipedia about N'Gog - they've got him down as a striker.
What we wasted on him and Sordell together could have paid for Jordan Rhodes.

Bit gutted to hear that about N'gog. Wish someone would tell us what the deal with Sordell is

N'gog was dreadful when he came on, looks completely shot of confidence to me.
One thing he could be relied on for last year was running, he'd put a shift in and hold the ball up okay when asked to. He's not even doing that anymore he's completely lost the little he had it's a shame but can anyone really see him becoming a useful asset for us?

But Rhodes hasn't done anything at this level, let alone Prem so I hardly think that's a big loss.

Rhodes has continued his scoring form with Blackburn hasn't he? I rate him at this level, a whole lot more than Ngog.

I think if you had read through the thread you would have picked up on that also.
