If we can take some confidence from tonight we can win but we looked nervous at the back, Lonergan and Knight especially.

Wolves have won 3 on the bounce, apparently Saunders has made a few changes and Doyle (now captain) and Stephen Hunt have been much improved for them, and their defence has tightened up with De Vries back in goal.
Will be a tough game, but they've just had a triple injury blow and they should be without David Davis and Ebanks Blake (I forget the last one).
Given ourselves a good shout again, beating Wolves is a must though, back to back wins would be a real boost.

Wolves look a different proposition recently and are another club fighting for their survival. Our fixture timing is shit.
After last nights' performance we could basically repeat the comments about the team made in our previous two matches because nothing seems to have changed. Still not playing well, still inviting pressure at the back, still unable to keep the ball to get us out of trouble and still not especially deadly in front of goal.
How the hell we're still in with a chance of the playoffs is beyond me, but we are so bring on the Wolves. Gawd knows what the score is going to be.

Given the injuries to Wolves i think we will beat them 2-1.
We should be more up for it because its Wolves too.
Any win will do on Saturday, where would we be if we didn't blow the Charlton game FFS.

Not sure these players share our dislike of Wolves so don't think they'll be any more up for it for that reason. Hopefully they'll be up for it because they have pride and a chance of getting to the playoffs.scottjames30 wrote:

Charlton was a freak accident in many respects, but Ipswich was a no-show and that was even more disappointing. With those 6 points......

We're Bolton wanderers, we do things the hard way.
We'll get in the play-offs on the last day!

Before our great run I'd come to terms with another season in this league but now I'm desperate to get back up this season!

After the start we had, it would be a massive bonus. Still think we'll struggle to do it, but it's added some value that we're in with a shout. F*** knows how we're here. We are pretty shit.Boggersbelief wrote:Before our great run I'd come to terms with another season in this league but now I'm desperate to get back up this season!

Anyone who went last night knows we have no chance of going up. We'd have to win a couple of away games - not going to happen.

No-one thought we'd win 5 on the bounce.

If you went last night you'll understand, if you didn't I can see why you still have hope.

Points are all that matter at this stage of the season, we're playing poorly yet still winning, comparing our run in with Brighton forest and Leicester I'd say we are favourites to finish in the play offs, But we MUST beat wolves.
