Medo needs to be in from the start for this one. Spearing can't do the job all on his own, they have too much in midfield. Personally my head tells me we're gonna lose this one but dammit I'm gonna vote with my heart and go for a 2-0 to us.

I'm predicting a good game in the sunshine tomorrow, if we can get the three points then we're on for a belting end to the season.
COYWM , i feel if we can take some points away then we will make that sixth spot.

Well we aint got super John but I am sure Craig Davies and Medo can get them rattled. 2-1 to us Sordell and KD, yes I think he will play some part tomorrow.Natasha Whittam wrote:I think Wolves will want this a lot more, just can't see our players being up for it.
I pity the people who never got the chance to attend a Bolton/Wolves game in the 90's, there really was nothing like it in terms of atmosphere.

I have a very sneaky feeling that we're going to batter Wolves today. I don't think it will be as cagey as Tuesday, and I think Sordell will be our hero.

I'm looking forwards to this one, just getting the pasta on just in-case the Wolves fancy some.
COYWM, 2-1.

Both teams were founded before the formation of the football league, but were originally playing an earlier and more violent form of football with up to 20 a side. BWFC was the first to adopt the 11 a side rules and was a also founder member of the football league. If you're interested in the history of BWFC before the football league, I sent some articles to Biggie last year - not sure if I still have them.

It'll be a shite game compared to the 1997 'Battle of Burnden'.
A great look back in the Birmingham Mail this morning:

If it kicks off today, we'll get battered. Eagles is defenceless without his man bag.

Freedman has to be the most incompetent manager there has been at BWFC for a very long time

I got the first scorer wrong, but I never saw Wolves scoring against us.

Play off race getting interesting now.
Leicester v Birmingham on Friday
Forest are away at Cardiff and Brighton away at middlesborough - tough games.
Beat Bristol city and I expect to see us in a play off position.

Don't forget Millwall - they have 2 games in hand on us which will put them 2 points behind us if they win them.

As it stands we could still make 4th place, obviously we just need to concentrate on our own games, and not worry what other teams are doing, if we keep winning it does'nt matter what other teams do as they have to play each other.

Did anyone see Super John raise his hand to his ear when the wolves fans where booing him at half time? Pretty funny

Good result, pretty poor game mainly because there was only one team in it. It's a long time since I saw any side dominate a Bolton/Wolves game like we did today.

Wolves were absolute dogturd in the first half ,they kept passing us the ball.
We could of had four or five.
Second half we just did what we had to do to get the three points.
