I'm getting in early with this one. Following on from our last two performances I cannot see us getting turned over by a team managed by a Geordie used car salesman.

Boro are now 3rd and looking dangerous.

There's been a flatness about our attack play from day one that was as visible at tonight's match as it has been at any, hence we dominated possession yet had to rely on goals from a set piece and an individual's piece of brilliance to get a point.
The best thing about KDavies slotting into the centre half role was that he wasn't at the top of the pitch bringing pace fuelled attacks to a halt as ever. We will subtly benefit from him not being in the side.
Any two of Sordell, Afobe and Ngog up front, please, with Ricketts coming in for Ream.

2-1 Boro ...... same prediction I always give. Until evidence is provided that we will not ship at least one goal and SKD is on the bench..... otherwise same old. Hoping for an Eagles 30 blast is not good enough.

Got a good feeling about this game, if we can just sort out this god awful defence I think we'll nick a 1-0 win. First away clean sheet for a long time!

Chungy to get his first goal and season up and running.

4-1 thrashing. The defence is a real shambles.

I cant see us getting anything from this to be honest. 3-1 boro. My predictions are awful though so i hope this is a bad one!

It's a tough one, but if we do get anything from it Jimmy Phillips and the team will be legends in our managerial history. They haven't let us down yet, so I'm hopeful we might get a point.

I'm sure our last two results must have been a massive confidence booster for the team. Let's hope we get a good following from the Wanderers fans.

Is Dougie going to the game ? If so I think he will probably be watching from the stands.

Watching from the stands I believe, Marc Iles has just been to twitter saying he is off to JPs last press conference. I wonder if the new gaffer will be there?

As he's been appointed you'd think he'd be invited to participate in training, be carefully watching the players all week and maybe have an input. I guess that as JP et al have been given the management role for the Boro game he would do this respectfully, but you'd think he'd be involved as closely as possible from the outset.

Similarly, you'd expect JP to invite him on to the bench for the game. In any management handover you'd expect as close a working relationship as feasibly possible to ensure a smooth transition. I just can't see DF talking to the players after the Boro game and starting off with "OK lads. Forget everything you've been working on for the last week or so...."

I should expect.

An away draw against 3rd in the league would be a great result. Don't expect it, but would be chuffed if we got anything from this one. I'm more excited about seeing if our performances continue to improve.
