Wanderers could have Dapo Afolayan and Kyle Dempsey back in action for the Easter programme.
Ian Evatt revealed the encouraging injury news after his side had battled back from a goal down to rescue a late point against Sheffield Wednesday.
Bolton face Doncaster Rovers at the Keepmoat Stadium on Good Friday followed by a home game against Accrington Stanley on Easter Monday.
And after finding himself down to the bare bones on Saturday, Evatt says he could have more options for the long weekend double header.
“Dapo wasn’t fit enough to play,” he said of Afolayan, who was named on the bench against Wednesday. “The scan on was clear, which is positive, but he has some real stiffness and tightness in that hamstring and we felt like unless it was an absolute emergency just to keep him rested and make sure that we get it recovered.
“There is no injury there, it is just a real risk of injury if we’d have pushed him any further.
“But Demps should be okay for the Easter period and Dapo as well.”
Wanderers overcame other injury and illness problems on the day – but were forced to bring off wing-back Declan John midway through the second half because of a tight hamstring.
“We have got Jon (Dadi Bodvarsson) who has had a really bad back,” Evatt explained. “We have had Traff (James Trafford) who has been really ill, and some more players with illness.
“It has just been one of those weeks, really.”
Ricardo Santos has had a scan on his injured hamstring, which as expected has shown damage which will keep him out of action for a few weeks.
“Rico’s scan is okay,” Evatt added. “It is just what we thought it is but it’s enough to keep him out for the remainder of the season.
“Now we just have to find a way to get four results really and then we can really regroup and go again next season.”
Wanderers equalised in the 90th minute with MJ Williams’ first goal in senior football, scored after a corner won by Elias Kachunga’s persistence on the left flank.
The former Wednesday man had been jeered for most of the afternoon from the 5,000 travelling supporters but had the final say as Bolton snatched two precious points away from the Owls.
“That’s part of football,” Evatt said of the boos. “Sometimes players go to clubs and it doesn't work out and they have bad times and Elias probably had that there, but then he’s come here and we’ve been really pleased with him so he’ll deal with that, he’ll laugh it off, it’s just part of the the game.
