Just as well in your case, Norpig. You always did seem to excel in the mindless comments stakes.

I'm sorry, Sluffy, but I'm busy at the moment. Can I ignore you some other time?

You can ignore me whenever you like Bob - I don't seek your are anyone else's attention.

I'm not that type of a person who needs to find some form of self validation from others on the internet (or anywhere else for that matter) - unlike some...

Its not in the least uncommon but there's not much fun in trying to have a discussion with someone who thinks they are listening but isn't and thinks they are thinking but isn't.

But enough of that, what's going on in the world of tu6boats? Well they don't seem to be giving up. The viewcount on the 'accounts thread' went to over 18,000 overnight whilst Sluffy's embargoed FV thread is approaching 19,000.

They aren't all tu6boats  of course. There is one that identifies as a tu6boat but isn't one and who knows, strange as it may seem, there might just be one or two that would like to be in the know about BWFC finances.

I must get a little hand put on this watch.

P.S. Sombody's been playing silly beggars again. I'm not saying who.

Is Norpig the "I believe in pink fairies" at work this morning? Question Question Question

Maybe he's fortunate but Norpig seems destined to reach senility before ever reaching maturity.

For a supposedly intelligent man your posts are generally gibberish, Nuts own version of Stanley Unwin.

That's so kind of you to say so. I rather approved of Professor Stanley Unwin.

May I say that for an immature goofball your posts are invariably immature and goofy.

Yes. That seems to be just about your level. How many years have you striven to attain it?

Good old Boncey. Possibly the least insane 'service user' in the asylum.

Seems FV is mysteriously behind on their paper work to Companies House again?

Documents were filed today showing the Sharon no longer was a person with significant control of FV, which hardly came as a surprise to anyone who bothered to read the threads like this one on here where Bob, Barry and myself attempt to understand and interpret the financials of Football Venture and explain it to those who may be interested.

The filed documents today shows that the event happened following a share allocation on the 10th November, 2022 and the subsequent confirmation statement of the 10th January, 2023 confirmed that to be the case.

As always it seems to be a (deliberate?) lack of clarity from FV to not record such things timely as they are required to do so - this filing is nearly 18 months late, for example?

However and to be fair to FV there is a 'grey' area in this instance as to what exactly the definition of the 'Nature of Control' is, in order to 'trigger' the notification required.

The definition being someone holding directly or indirectly more than 50% of the shares AND more than 50% of the VOTING rights in the company.

Following the November 2022 share allocation (which included B SHARES that held NO voting rights), the TOTAL amount of all shares now held meant Sharon had LESS than a 50% holding - but the TOTAL amount of Shares with VOTING rights, (ie not including the B SHARES) meant that she did still hold more than the 50% required.

In simple words - all the shares (A shares and B shares), when added together, Sharon had now less than 50% of the total - but when just A Shares are considered (A shares hold voting rights - B shares do not), Sharon still had more than 50% of the total),

Subsequent share issues have meant the Sharon holds less than 50% share ownership by both definitions since, as has been noted and discussed on the forum sometime previously.

Sluffy is right that FV have a history of being a bit slow on the accountability side and that its a tad inconsistent with all this 'one club, one community' hype. Not that the 'esteemed' one or the ST ever seem to notice much btw.

The latest accounts of PBP suggests that they were paying tax on the interest they hadn't been paid on their loan to FV and are now trying to get some of the tax back from HMRC.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I expect Home Bargains could well afford to sponsor BWFC shirts but why should they if Tom Morris can neither get PBP's money back nor interest on the loan. Its about EIGHT years since PBP came up with the dosh to help keep BWFC in business.

The 'esteemed' one knows his onions when it comes to accounts...

...err no Marc, Sharon still holds around 45% of the shares even now, whilst BMML Ltd still has a long way to go to overtake her, holding around just 25%

As for the tax on PBP's loan, I've not looked into the detail, nor intend to, but didn't PBP restructure the loan recently (last year or two?) whereby they waived the accrued interest to that time - if so maybe that is why they are looking to receive back tax they paid to HMRC on what they (in effect) paid in advance to them?

Just my thought.

Likelihood is we will be spending another year in league one.

The owners have obviously assumed we would be in the champ next year.

They will be looking to sell high earners raise ticket prices and sell the club if we’re not.
