Very young Tranmere side - average age 21/22 according to their comms
And they've scored!
Poor positioning from Dixon leaving a gaping hole to his left.

Defensively we let the lad drift in to the centre of the goal without a challenge going in.
Toal immediately blocks a second.
Poor from BWFC all round.

Tranmere on top. Our passing and distribution has been poor, no midfield control and nobody is covering themselves in glory.

Turns out that their average age is actually 24.7
Dapo finally gets a shot away- easy for the keeper though.
Still, we're starting to get forward a bit.

But - defence is all over the place as two attackers pick their way through 5 defenders and make it 2 nil.
Beck had lost his man.

Poor half.
Individual performances have been substandard all over but the goals came from poor defending in front of the CBs and bad marking. No DM to speak of and they're walking it through us - Tranmere deserve the 2 goal lead. Shape is all wrong which is forgiveable in a team of strangers, but they do need to decide on who's doing what and quick.
At the other end - nothing.
HT stats say
Passing accuracy in the final third BWFC 44% (Tranmere 65%)
Key passes BWFC 1 (Transmere 5)

Joel Dixon can't catch a cold. Very poor goalkeeper, not at all what one would expect at this level. If Trafford gets injured, our promotion hopes will evaporate.

We've got Luke Hutchinson who is having a cracking season for the B teamKeegan wrote:Joel Dixon can't catch a cold. Very poor goalkeeper, not at all what one would expect at this level. If Trafford gets injured, our promotion hopes will evaporate.

Finally - get a decent ball in and JDB heads it wide when he should have scored.

Bit of pressure from us now - not before time.

Jaysus! Great move from Tranmere, ball watching from us led to a chance that they should have done better with.

Would you be happy going into a League One game with Hutchinson as our goalkeeping back up?wanderlust wrote:We've got Luke Hutchinson who is having a cracking season for the B teamKeegan wrote:Joel Dixon can't catch a cold. Another opportunity to Tranmere. We're awful.

Great ball in from Sheehan FK - melee in the goal mouth, bobbles off the post and is cleared. Closest we've come.

Need a goal soon, but so far we haven't looked likely - but then Sadlier gets a scruffy one when he looked offside
