Fact is, we weren't good enough especially first half.

One of the poorest displays I've seen. Nobody could trap, pass a ball or dribble.  Other passes going right out of play. Toal didn't look too bad - Beck seemed lightweight.  On the bright side Issy turned the game around IMO.
I'll give a pass due to the 10 changes and players with only a few minutes of game time, but I can't see who is going to force themselves into the first team on this performance.

Strength in depth? Only in a few positions if you ask me.

This team made Tranmere look good.

Toal looked reasonably solid but his distribution was pants, hoofing it down the park to nobody in particular or into touch.
TA is right about the lack of quality - we just couldn't string a move together and we had a very soft centre. Our experienced players looked all over the shop and JDB got nothing to stick. Dapo was awful.
If there are any positives, it's Isgrove who looked lively and Carty's cameo.
