I win most of my money on the goals galore (both teams to score) coupon at Betfred. £100 on four matches returns a grand, on average win 1 in 3 of them sort of bets.

Yes that was my last win, but I have lost countless bets since then. I just can't work out how to pick winning teams, so many crazy results.

I found those goals galore bets impossible too, but I guess there must be clues to look for to find games that are more likely to both score. I do think football betting could be a licence to print money if you found a golden way to find games which should win.

I'll put my predictions up for this weekends games on this thread. I'll have £100 on four matches (I could look pretty foolish) but usually if I don't win then only one team lets me down.

Mainly online and in private games people organise. I do go the casino sometimes but usually play roulette and blackjack when I'm there.

Not a bad effort for 16/1. After seeing some of yesterday's scores like united losing at Norwich, Everton losing at reading, us not beating Barnsley, I think I will concentrate on goal rush bets. I have picked out one for today - ten quid on:

I occasionally go to the casino as it's a good night out and providing I stick to a budget (always do) it costs about the same as going to a club. Most casinos look after the punters and have OK food so you can make an evening of it and I get as much enjoyment watching as gambling (voyeur!) If I win, it's a bonus.

I got put off the horses when I was at uni in the 70s when my mate blew 80% of his 3 month food and rent budget in 3 weeks, then won half of back, then blew most of his winnings celebrating. He just didn't realise that overall he was down by some margin and I figured I never wanted to be that stupid.

I had £20 on Wanderers to beat Barnsley at 13-2 so I was pretty peed off that we couldn't get the second goal.

Where were we 13/2 to win?

Apologies, I had £20 on us to win 2-1 at 13-2! hence my disappointment at the 1-1 scoreline. I actually thought 2-1 was a pretty safe bet!

I had Kevin Davies to score the first and 2-1. 25/1 I think it was. Only had a quid on that bet but it would've been nice.
