If we get a profit on him I'll be over the moon.
What was your source of this information?

Me too. Like Ngog but he isn't a fox in the box. Can't believe there's any truth in this though.

Ha ha. Newcastle are definitely crying out for an injury prone ponce who scores once every 15 games.

It got some newcastle fans upset, saying how far they'd fallen.
They're not happy about losing Remi and mentioning NGOG was like throwing a spark into a petrol can.

17 days in and its gone very quite, does anyone know any of our targets expect Dawson?

Dawson is the major target - the other targets are expected to be simpler to accomplish but are not as vital. Still being kept close to the chest for the time being.

The n'gog rumour wasn't fake but it does seem the valuation was way off.

I'm not sure the Daily Mail printing it makes it true, they're probably reporting the twitter rumour.

Papers don't just print hearsay. I'm guessing there's something in it.

Probably be worth letting him go for £2m though. Half what we paid for him but he was a Coyle signing so he's probably on massive wages as well.

There's Nation but I would expect him to another "one for the future" like Gregus. WBA not keen on selling Dawson - maybe that's just bluster to boost the fee - but if not, I haven't heard anything about other defenders being lined up. So it is quiet for now. Presumably the club are still working to get Dawson, but it would be good to think that there's a plan B if it doesn't come off. Not sure if anything's been decided about McFadzean - and since Bristol's offer was rejected maybe that's the plan B? In a way, I'm fairly happy with the idea that the club are keeping their cards close to their chest for now.

"It's hard to go and sign potential - to uncover and discover that potential and then go and sign it. That's what I'm trying to do and I believe I'm very close to (signing) one or two players like that."

New signings next week? I hope so

Apparently Dawson tied up for rest of season.

The Baggies are obviously keen on him if they are resorting to bondage - perhaps we could organise a rescue party? We could hire those French guys but I suspect West Brom will top the hostage before they get in.
