A host of Championship clubs are looking to land West Bromwich Albion defender Craig Dawson, Sky Sports understands.

Fingers crossed on the Dawson loan deal, in other news the Ngog rumour is doing the rounds again apparantly, this time in the mail - we are ready to sell him for £2million apparantly.

Dougie wants to sign Mile Jedinak from Palace. He's the midfield destroyer, that he's been looking for.

Nixon is saying the same - £1.5 million apparantly.

I believe Forest are sniffing around Marcos Alonso, he's been offered a new deal, but he's yet to sign.

Like the idea. Jedinak's a big lad that can put it about, score the odd goal and could do a good job as defensive mid although he's not really played at the top level. Useful in the air too.

Maybe, with Dawson and Wheater with Jedinak in front we'd have the solid base DF is looking for and that would allow him to give more attacking freedom to the midfield. Could be a bargain at that price.

I like the way that DF is approaching the transfer window - he's not throwing money around like previous managers did, can see what's needed and knows his targets - great if he gets them but DF strikes me as the kind of guy who will walk away if the deal isn't right so we may end up with nothing.

Jedinak and a fit Stu Holden, that would be some midfield partnership.

That team is good but sadly it will be too late in the season before we see a starting 11 like that IMO.

Yes, I think his current contract expires in May.

Nixon says Alonso has been offered a new contract but he's yet to sign it.

He's obviously going to bide his time if there's prem interest.

I can see Alonso extending his contract this week.

I'm betting Tuesday.
