Now we all know major assessments are needed on the defence and no doubt we've already discussed whatevers said in the article, the player fighting to get in shape is most likely wheater but who do we think this 'big' transfer target is?

Do we think it's exciting news about a top player or is he just spouting more rubbish to sell more copies of the paper?

Any ideas? Jedinak, marlon king, dawon or even Curtis Davies?

Cardiff have signed Frazier Campbell so I guess that stops any rumours of them going for sordell.

I guess being so negative about every aspect of the club, the manager and the team has it's benefits. If they fail, it's expected and if they don't it's a bonus. I can see the win-win.

Alonso has got a new agent, It looks like he's doing his best to unsettle the lad.

well his deal is up in the summer and he's rejecting a new deal so we'll see.

I don't understand why the club would offer him a new contract though - he's been a reserve at best for the majority of his BWFC career.

Probably because he's still very young, and probably wont command a big wage.

If he's demanding too much he will be let go simple.

I thought that would happen to Zat Knight.

But he's not young, probably commands a fair wage and has absolutely no upside.

So yes, IMO that was a mistake to re-sign him.

Even though i was told i was wrong about him after 2 games this season and that he was actually really good.

I think Alonso is finally starting to come good and it would piss me off if he becomes another one that benefits from the development work and then catches the first bus out of town without attracting a transfer fee akin to what we paid for him.

Thought he'd be too expensive and not good enough for us. Perhaps it's a double deal for Ngog to return? They could have Ngog back if they gave us Coates and threw in Spearing for good measure - but they'd have to ask nicely.

Seen very little of him seems to be hit and miss.
