People aren't getting excited because they've seen Kamara play, they're getting excited because some tabloid once wrote Spurs were interested in him.

Newcastle were once interested in Ngog you know.

He's been linked to 5 top European teams, obviously he has something about him, he'll be a step above spearing and Andrews.

I've now come to the conclusion that you are not a Bolton fan, you never have a positive thing to say about bwfc.

They're getting excited because he's a midget defensive mid, we need one and he's as cheap as chips.

Not that it should bother you as you're so confident he isn't coming anyway.

Latest on Alonso::

Fiorentina admit negotiations to bring Bolton's Spanish left-back Marcos Alonso to the club are unlikely to happen until this summer.

The left-back cost Wanderers £2.5m when he signed from Real Madrid in the summer of 2010, but is out of contract at the end of the season.

And, although sporting director Daniele Prade admits the Serie A club would be willing to test the water by trying to bring him to the Stadio Artemio Franchi before transfer deadline day, he claims the Trotters are playing hardball.

"I think it would be hard to take him right away, because Bolton are making a stand," he told Sky Sports Italia.

"If we don't find an agreement with them, then we will do everything in June."

Fiorentina: "Sell him to us on the cheap now or we will take him for free in the summer!"

Isn't it nice being held to ransom over our own player.

If im honest, Alonso's refusal to sign a new deal means this is going to happen.

Both the player, his agent and fiorentina have got us by the balls.

im sure this happened in the past...

a few times...

At the moment it looks like he's gone, but if we put a decent enough team together there are at least a few months remaining for him to change his mind.

Nixon's tweeting again - these are a few tit bits from the last hour or so -

Can't do Q and As right now. Wigan close to biggie. Bolton ultra busy - couple in, poss couple out. Huddersfield boss short list

Can't go into details on Medo. Deffo hijack risk.

Q - are we even going for a winger or is it this kamara and the Leicester lad

Nixon - First choice winger not available. But something may come up tomorrow. Could be awful busy here

I feel much more comfortable with DF and LL in the transfer market. They seem far more busier than Coyle ever was!

It's not just that we are busy, I actually feel DF has a better scouting set up and more of an eye for a player than OC did.

Ricketts and Alonso would be my bet and I still think either Mavies or Lee could be sold too.

On the Kamara deal, I get the feeling of a hijack will be on the cards and he will be another nearly signing for us.

Mavies has just signed a new contract so I can't see him leaving. Liverpool were reported to be sniffing around Chungy but they will have to make a decent offer otherwise they will be told to do one.

Mark Davies hasn't signed a contract officially?

Maybe the outs will just be loans out, young lads.
