I don't understand your issue with signing young players from the lower leagues/ foreign leagues Rebel, there have been countless players who have made the step up in recent years.

I'd prefer to be signing young players from the lower leagues who develop and progress than over the hill nonsense like Keith Andrews, Zat Knight etc.

The fact you haven't heard of them doesn't mean they aren't good enough.

Nicely put sir, Dougie has even said himself that he wants young players who will look at a move to bolton as a highlight of their career and will give their all for the club.

I'd rather see young players running their socks off and putting a shift in than the likes of Knight and Andrews in all honesty.

It looks to me like the powers that be have adopted a slash and burn policy to offload the top earners. It is looking like promotion may no longer be on the cards therefore get rid of the top earners to slash the wage bill and let Dougie bring in some younger talent on lower wages.

I have complete faith in the way the club wants to start doing things. We can't continue to make a loss year after year. Then there would be no club for us to support.
