It looks like Johnson's career is in shreds at the tender age of 24 but despite his injuries and "mental health problems" he must be worth a gamble to someone. Promising talent, not yet realised.

Real shame but unless he loses some weight and sorts his head out he won't be worth signing for anyone yet.
He may not be looking to continue in football too.

He likes a drink by all accounts. He clearly hasn't got the willpower required to stay in shape when injured. He is still only 24 but it looks as if his career in football is over.

We don't need another goalkeeper.

We got linked with him a couple of times under OC and once under old gary if I remember rightly.
It would be a brave manager to offer him a contract.

We had a young player in the 70s, who played fairly regularly, but liked the sauce too much. In the end his form and contract went down the gurgler. Can't for the life of me remember his name.

We've already got Sordell with mental problems- we don't need any more. We'd look like a rehabilitation unit- the Northern Priory
