Polotician assasination attempt at televised conference!

This guy was lucky to escape with his life when an assassin walked onto the stage and pointed a gun at the leader of Bulgaria's ethnic Turkish party, Ahmed Dogan, during his speech. The gun was a couple of inches from the party leaders head but as the gunman attempted to pull the trigger and blow his brains out on live TV it jammed (you can see the look of annoyance and surprise on the attackers face as he realises the blunder), he is then wrestled to the ground and no shots go off.

ps, the security guards then pummelled him as he lay on the ground. I thought it looked a bit much but you would be understandably seething.
