Dougie came out with a statement about his approach to getting new players' heads sorted out before they play (see home page) but I'm getting concerned about Medo as he hardly seems to have been involved so far - not even benchwarming.
Medo talks a good fight but I'm wondering if the slow progress towards the bench indicates he's not the player Dougie thought he was? Dougie seems reticent to change his system, so I'm thinking if he's not going to play an out and out defensive mid, he'll probably view Medo as a straight swap for Spearing when he goes back to Liverpool. They may compete for one place this season so I guess he'll wait until Medo is clearly better than Spearing before risking him.
