I really like this lad from what I have seen him, reminds me of Gary Cahill without the puffy cheeks, be good if we could keep him but I doubt he will be able to stay.

He's a good player. He also reminds me of Cahill, quick, good in the air, can score goals. I'd love it if we could get him on loan again next season but who knows because he's highly rated at Brom.

Cahill was average at best. He was lucky he played alongside Zat Knight for so long. It was no coincidence that Bolton had their best defensive spell when he was injured for a few weeks.

Even at Chelsea, surrounded by world class players, he still looks like a headless chicken.

Ha ha, absolute rubbish. Do you actually watch football? He made just as many mistakes as Knight but the fans preferred to blame Knight for the shambolic defending.

Cahill was a good player for us. He was almost as good as Gudni. Not quite though.

Cahill isn't world class. He's very good but not international standard

Cahill was/is an excellent player. Not world class by a long shot but 50000000x better than what we have now.

Dawson looked good in the game i saw him, high energy guy but there's no way West Brom give up on him, and he wouldn't come here unless we were promoted and we were dishing out a big fee.

Cahill is a very good player. Best signing Megson made.

Cahill was good for us ....not world class though. This lad Dawson looks decent so far ...better than the other CB's we have.

Dawson does look decent but he runs like he's just shit himself.

Dawson is by far the best centre back we have had play for us this season from the 3 games I have seen whilst he has been here.

As for Cahill, he was a very good player for us but is far from world class, everytime I have seen him play for chelsea and england this season he has looked pretty suspect to say the least. I don't think he will be at Chelsea much longer.

Looked good in the games I've seen, looking forward to see him play alongside Wheater.

Dawson was awesome yesterday, Him and zat night look good together.

I hope we can get the lad here on a permanent basis.

Trouble is Scott he knows he is good enough for the Premiership and dont think we will be there just yet, plus they wont sell.

Dawson and Wheater would be a great pairing for next season.

If Dawson keeps playing like he is we have no chance of signing him though.
