Interesting fixtures this week and a great opportunity for us providing we win at Bristol.
Cardiff v Forest - if Cardiff win we could actually overtake Forest and at the same time Cardiff would be pretty certain of promotion so would take the pressure off them for their game against us.
Boro v Brighton - this could be the end of Boro's challenge but a Boro victory could see us in 6th by the time we kick off against Leicester if Brum and Cardiff do the business for us.
Tuesday: Millwall v Watford - Millwall have a game in hand on everyone else and could theoretically sneak into the playoffs if they win every game, but Watford are nearly there.
Leicester v Us - another must win. Somehow, we have to scrape a victory to keep the dream alive.
Boro v Forest - they can't both get 3 points.
Great to be back to 2 games a week and by Tuesday night, we'll probably know a lot more about what our chances of promotion are.

Mowbray believes Middlesbrough's Championship play-off hopes remain alive
despite being seven points adrift of the top six.

The next two games against fellow hopefuls Brighton and Nottingham Forest
offer chances to close the gap.

"The fact is, it's important that with the teams we play, we can affect the
teams above us," Mowbray told BBC
Tees.

"Our job, in my mind, is to try to win those games and make things exciting
at the end of the season."

Gus Poyet's Albion arrive at the Riverside on Saturday, while Billy Davies'
Forest are the visitors three days later.

"We're playing two teams at home here with huge expectations of reaching the
play-offs and I genuinely feel we can nick points off both of them," Mowbray
insisted.

"Especially Forest, they go to Cardiff at the weekend, and if they lose there
and lose to us, we'll be there with them, so let's not give up hope yet. "
