your heart was there, but in the end you turned out to be a Nightmare.
You sent us down, and for that I'm glad you've left our town.
You upset a lot of folk, even though you're a nice bloke.
We will be back and fight once more, before you ever walk through a managers door.
I will never ever forget that sad day, that you that you nearly fucked our club away.
When we went down, and i would of rather had Phil Brown.
But you can't look back, its just that you never had the knack.
You can't blame just you,as there was afew.
I'm glad them days are gone, and we can carry on.

They never would put up a fight.
So down through the trapdoor they fell,
And everyone thought they'd do well,
But a manager later,
we're no fuckin' better,
It's a team that never will gel.
With a donkey up top,
a midfielder flop,
and a back including zat knight,
we better make changes,
to get things right,
or another man's up for the chop.
Sounded alright in my head, reading it back it seems a bit of a cock up. Oh well, I'll leave it up there for someone else to re hash it.
