Yeah, he's shown it in parts, and then there's parts where he looks nothing like the Lee of old. Either way, a decent winger is required at the end of this season, regardless of that division we're in.

Alonso is good going forward .....gets into position to chip in with some goals....all the good Prem full backs do that. Defensively he is not the strongest but I'll take the attacking qualities any day of the week.

He's a real threat going forward and reminds me of Ricardo's early years - plus he's chipping in with the odd goal. He's also a big lad and adds height. His defending has improved from "pathetic" to "just about acceptable" but it will never be his strongpoint, even though he has plenty of room for improvement.
I can see why clubs (including ours) would want him and my feeling is that he'll be off in the summer, but at least we've had a decent half season out of him before he goes which is a better result than I originally anticipated.

Just seen the Bristol goal, Alonso looked a right knob. Lost the ball and was too slow to catch the winger. Nowhere near PL class.

No disrespect to you Karly but although Jam might only be a relative new boy on here, I and several others have known Jammy on another forum for a number of years and as Hipster as already said, he's a very decent poster and not a knee-jerker or wum like some.
I can understand why you said what you did but once you get to know Jammy more I'm sure you'll be more accepting of what he says in future.
