I'd only wear a Real Madrid shirt.

I haven't bought a england or Bolton shirt for about 10 years. When you enter your late 20's guys start to look like tools in them. With all shirts now being tailored fit it makes me cringe when you see middle aged men wearing the new strip that looks like it is about to rip across the belly.
I am either going to treat myself to the new England top (new one will be Nike) when that comes out or a bwfc polo shirt. Strictly for football or lounging purposes.

I trust you understand that if I was not wearing a Bolton shirt, the only other shirt I'd wear is a Real Madrid shirt - I've liked Real from before I became interested in Bolton. It is unfortunate that they subsequently bought a succession of Man U players which lessened my interest somewhat, but still. Players come and go - fans are forever.

Up to a few years ago I used to play regular 5 a side at least a couple of times a week. Often the sides were not picked until you got to the changing rooms and in one of the regular weekly games I played the lads used to take a little bit more seriously than most of the other games I played in and we had to take two shirts to the game - a white one and a blue one - so that you had the 'team' colours irrespective of which side you ended up playing on.
The white top was obviously no problem but eventually I had to go out and buy a cheap blue shirt.
As I lived down London the obvious top in the shops was Chelsea but I couldn't bring myself to wear their colours and eventually stumbled on a Rangers top which I found in a bargain bucket for something like a quid - which was very cheap even back then when I bought it.
I've no allegiance to Scottish football in general or Rangers in particular, it just filled a need I had at the time. I only ever wore it for an hour every other week or so - depending how many times I ended up playing on the 'blues' side.
I don't half miss playing my football, the spirit is still very strong but unfortunately my body is well and truly knackered!
Happy days though - even in a Rangers top!
