Yes, I think you are right to be honest. We had 11 seasons in the Premiership and to be honest getting murdered week in week out wasn't a lot of fun. But one thing I do miss is not seeing us on TV much. I am sure I am right in saying we have only been on Sky TV twice this season - and one of those was the 2nd game of the season at home to Forest and the other being Dougie's first game of the season. Twice on TV in a year is really bad, are not many Championship games shown on TV any more? Hmmm - probably not - only the Saturday evening game usually, whereas in the Prem there is 4 on a weekend.

Leicester probably deserve the spot ro be honest, they have been in the play offs for most of the season.

Although I don't think we would have been truly ready for the Prem, I don't care. I wanted to go up for the money which would have been a big help to the club, and to be able to see games. You guys in and around get to see games but for Martin and I, it just pretty much sucks. Boring that's how I rate it. It's been a little more boring than last season even though we've finished 1 place higher this season.

If we have the summer that most Burnley fans are expecting then staying in the division next season will be a bonus.

Dyche has a big job on this summer and he needs to up his game anyway.

Did we deserve a playoff spot? No. I hope Leicester go on and win as they deserve it. RR will read this tomorrow and realise his posts above was out of frustration.

What's happened to Austin in the last few months of the season, he was red hot at the start and I thought he might get you in the play offs.

He's had a couple of injuries Aaron which haven't helped.

The main reason though is that Dyche has stifled our attacking threat for a more solid keep your shape and try and not let the opposition score.

Austin really isn't a man who will create many chances for himself, he needs service and Dyche has played him up front on his own a lot since he came to Burnley.

Austin won't make it in the Premier League but if we get £4 million plus for him then that's what it's all about for Burnley. You've got to keep the money coming in.
