Guilty Or Unlucky?

As I'm sure you're aware Adam Johnson has been arrested for knobbing a 15 year old girl.

The word on the street suggests he met this girl in a club where anyone under 18 was denied entry.

So it's fair to say there was a presumption on his part that the girl he was knobbing was at least 18. So is this an excuse? Should he have done more to establish her age, or is the fact she was in an over 18 club exclude him from prosecution?

Do you consider him a criminal or was he just unlucky?

I have seen a picture of Johnson with the alleged victim. Her face has been blanked out but she is wearing a Sunderland shirt and looks older than 15 going off the picture.

Hmmm, let me see.

Jimmy Savile, Rolf Harris, Gary Glitter, Max Clifford, Dave Lee Travis, not to mention the numerous muslim under age sex rings - all on the news over the last twelve months and more.

There's also quite a big difference in the maturity of someone between 15 years old and 18. He being 27 years old would know that - with no doubt experience of many women - him being a fit young multi-millionaire and all that.

How many kiss and tell story's have there been about slappers and footballers also - and they are just the ones when they are over the age of concent.

If in any doubt, then theres plenty of other 'willing' fish in the sea for him.

The bloke is a fool - all for a bit of an illicit thrill.

No doubt Oldham will be trying to sign him now.

I vote unlucky. He could obviously have been more cautious but how much caution is exercised in a one night stand outside of condom use? He had no doubt the girl was of age. Who would risk losing an affluent lifestyle over some careless punany that was clearly underage? She should have her ass beaten - going to a club while underage and hooking up with a footballer for a one night stand - she knows what she wants out of life, and it isn't found in a book.

He's accused of stat rape isn't he? Or has there been an accusation of rape?

How did a 15 year old get into a nightclub?

Didn't see anything wrong with the post. Whittam seems to have lost her mind.
Spoke to Bread about it last night and I think he's had enough,which is a great pity,because he's without doubt one of the best posters on here.
Nuts is,in my humble opinion,the best Wanderers site on the web,but if it continues to shoot itself in the foot on such a regular basis,it won't be long before it becomes a mirror image of BA.
And that would be a shame.

Maybe if he stopped crying, and threatening to leave, and just got on with posting knowing that he can't possibly get on with everyone, and that some posters will disagree with him, then it'll be a better place.

Never noticed the deleting of posts though to be fair, especially ones a inoffensive as this, that's what's so strange about it. 

Lacking any Bolton fans to talk to in real life I'll just put up with it, certainly is bizarre though.
