Its Doyle and Beckford.

Cant see it happening, fees and wages will be big...

Doyle hasn't really impressed me. Although I can see why Dougie likes him, he's clearly a hard working and committed player.

Wouldn't be a bad signing but I wouldn't say he would grab the goals for us.

Doyle would be a bit meh for me, but he's shown bits and bobs in the past, could rejuvenate himself here.

lets be honest we're not going to be getting anyone of immense talent are we.

Youngsters hungry to play or vets who've still got a bit in the tank will be good enough for me.

WANDERERS are closing in on a deal to sign Leicester City striker Jermaine Beckford.

The 29-year-old striker was signed for £2.5million by Sven Goran Eriksson two years ago but is available at a knock-down fee after being told he has no future at the King Power Stadium.

Beckford made his name with Leeds United and had a record of better than a goal every other game in his time at Elland Road.

Less successful moves to Everton and Leicester followed but it is understood that Dougie Freedman has now targeted the Jamaica international to spearhead his attack next season.

Sordell and Ngog on their merry way if this comes off.

I would start to see Dougie in a new light if he actually bought a couple of decent players in before the football season has even ended properly.

Too often we've been making signings in August and get the usual "they'll take time to bed in" bollocks.

Sordell maybe. N'Gog or Craig Davies will be paired with him or even Tom Eaves

Tom Eaves and Beckford could be a rather decent strike force if it worked.

Bit of strength and height to get the knock ons and then pace to latch onto them

I'd be surprised If N'Gog is sold, as he's still injured. I think Sordell might be on his bike though.
