If Mancini deserved it with his record at City- how long would you give Moyes if he doesn't win anything in his first season at Old Trafford?

He's had a shite season ,with the money he has spent he should be made to pay it back buying some real shite, or over paying buying shite.

He's not met a single target, ok he's qualified for the CL, but it'll be harder no too with that team.

Glad he's gone , most overrated manager in footballing history, take that big fat Platt twat with you.

I hope these twats fail at everything and return to mediocrity.

I have a mate who's a city fan, gives it the big I am like an absolute bellend even though I've been to the etihad more times than him.

Nice lad though.

Completely different situation, Mancini messed about with the best defence in the league after they were brilliant last season, spent billions on a side which I don’t actually think is that good because he failed to get any sort of unity in the dressing room, constantly made strange tactical selections and substitutions (3-5-2 in Europe, rarely playing both Tevez and Aguero despite them obviously being the best pair, bringing on Rodwell or Kolorov when he needs a goal?!), was horrendous in Europe and failed to add quality to the side after last season.
Not to mention all the crap with Balotelli. He didn’t do that good a job, they’ll be a much better team with Pellegrini.

Moyes for me is a dumb choice and he wont win anything with united not even top five, great for everyone else though.

I think he's achieved the least you'd expect him to, all things considered, maybe less. He'd spent something like £400m in two and a half years before finally winning the league, not forgetting the valuable squad he inherited.
You can dress it up with all his achievements compared with previous City managers, but until you bring in the circumstances, it means nothing.

Mancini signed a new five year contract last season and it is reported that he is entitled to £28 million severance pay.

Factor in the new managers wages and contract plus the cost of his own new backroom staff and you won't get much change out of £50 million. The clowns running the Etihad most definitely have more money than sense.

They'll probably make that in interest every day.
