I like Freedman getting on with it in the transfer market. How any times have we seemed to spend weeks and weeks only hearing speculation and rumour? This is nice.

To be fair, and I don't know if I've ever written these words before, that is a good signing.

Looks like a good signing, Blackpool fans don't seem too pleased.
Is he better at center back or full back?

Decent signing imo.

Top, top player. Dougie is doing well in the transfer market and its early days.

Another shrewd signing by Dougie. I expect Baptiste to play at right back for us, but he can basically, play anywhere at the back.
He was Captain at Blackpool in the season just gone, so he should be a leader for us.
With the left back spot looking sorted and now the right back position, we just need to bring in Dawson at the back.
We also need to get rid of the rubbish at the back as well. Mears, Mills & Ream get on your bikes!

This could be a great signing by Douglas - he's a good player.
I like all this getting our business done early stuff, beats waiting until 11.59 on August 31st for us to make a signing.

Says a lot for Dougie getting him, as he was also talking to Hull, great signing imo

Hello and welcome Josh and what great news you've brought us with your first post - can't wait for your second!
WANDERERS have beaten clubs from the Championship and the Premier League to the signing of Blackpool defender Alex Baptiste on a free transfer.
The 27-year-old defender had several options on the table, including newly-promoted Hull City, but it is understood that he has agreed a three-year deal with the Whites this morning, subject to a medical.
Baptiste – who skippered Blackpool last season and had the option of another year at Bloomfield Road – can play in a variety of positions across the back four, but primarily as a right back.

I'm worried. Nobody has started slagging him off yet. Can he really be that good?

That usually comes 15-20 minutes into the debut.

I am sure Ngog turned him inside out on the final game of the season. He can't be that good

Chuffed with this signing tbh, he'll get better under Freedman too.
