Used to smoke Woodbines and owned a Pigeon for a while, till it escaped.

Just wondering.

Smoked a full pack of Woodbines at college, one after the other for a bet. Took about a week to get over it, I was as green as the pack on the last couple, those were the days... Embarassed

I like whippets but will have to pass on flat caps and pigeons.

I smoked Woodbines and Capstan Full Strength, I've eaten Pidgeon, still have a flay cap somewhere and my uncle had a whippet

My mum and dad both smoked Woodbines - did'nt do either of them much good in the end though.

My dad used to work in a flat cap and I used to wear them quite often myself until about the 1980's when baseball caps became more common to have.

Never did the pigeons or whippets though.

I got my Pigeon from the Town Hall Square but you just couldn' t catch any old Pigeon (scrag) it had to be Ringed.

None of the above.

I don't feel as though I can now count myself as a proper northerner.

I've had tripe and elder though and I won't have it ever again.
