Thomas Hitzlsperger is the one that jumps out at me.

Ryan Nelsen is an interesting one.

He's been Toronto FC's head coach since January.

I think Jamie Carragher is releasing Liverpool, not t'other way round.

I'd take Sanchez Watt and Yossi Benayoun and possibly young Luke McCullough. Megson thought Watt was "shite and lightweight" while Wenger said "I like his movement, his sharpness, his great work rate, his left-footed quality. I believe he is determined." before releasing him. McCullough is a big, brawny S.O.B. who captained age-group teams for Man U primarily due to his size and has been likened to his compatriot Jonny Evans (remember him?). We could do with our own terminator and I think having been released, he'd relish the opportunity to take out a selected Man U player in much the same way Evans did to our Stu at Fergie's behest.
