No, not a thread about Charlie Sheen but a thread about this site in general.

In recent weeks the site seems to have moved from gentle ribbing and banter to a more sinister type of abuse that is starting to spill over into more and more threads.

I get that people are passionate about the club and it's impossible for people to get along all of the time, but some of the recent verbal abuse has been nasty. If people want to spend all day abusing each other then please use the PM system.

We're not in the business of over modding the site, you are free to say almost anything you want on the site - we're not here to please sponsors like most other forums. But when people are just abusing each other for no reason then we're going to have to step in as it dilutes the content of the site.

By all means argue, fight, abuse over a topic you feel passionate about - that's what forums are about and often when they are at their funniest....but please refrain from turning every thread into a personal abuse battle.
