Do you like work ?

Does anybody on here like work?

If so give reasons, if not give reasons.

I only go to work once every 2 mths ish, most of it I do on the phone and email.
Gives me loads of time to play, and do mi house up.

I used to like work, but am finding myself more and more disillusioned with each passing day. There's more to life than working in an office 5 or 6 days a week. I don't want to get to 60 and look back and regret not doing more with my life when I had the chance.

I am going to make some huge changes in my life very soon. Huge.

Yes and no for me. I would be bored out of my mind, If I didn't have a job, plus the money comes in handy with having two daughters that love I phones and designer clothing.

I could work part time though, maybe 3 days a week and I'd be content. I still get a buzz out of work, even though it can be quite stressful at times.

Culcheth_White , you have just pissed me off.

There is a big wide world out there, you won't get bored, if work is a cure for boredom you have issues , I can't understand how people have to work or they'll get bored ?

Well, for me to enjoy the things I like to do out of work time, like nice holidays, driving a BMW, playing golf and watching BWFC, that all costs big dosh! I need to work to pay for it all.

I'll think about packing work in, when I'm around 60 or so, but I'll always have my finger in the pie even then.

Oh, I thought that you just worked because you would be bored if you didn't .

All of the above are worth working for then.

I love my job, out in the sunshine all day every day, just have to turn a deaf ear to all the moaning Brits.

I was but now thanks to my own company and a fantastic hand-on investment, and my current role for the company I work for, I love working and I still ahve time for the little pleasures in life such as my fiance, BWFC, Holidays etc

That's the one nice thing about egotists..... they don't talk about other people.

The first 30 years I loved my job, the last 5 I hated it, love early retirement I can recommend it to anyone.

I always enjoyed going to work. Took early retirement but soon got bored. Now have a part time job - 2 days a week which gives me 5 days a week for golf, beach, gardening etc. The job actually pays me 300 dollars a week (under the table ) which I don't really need, just keep putting it aside for a rainy day, but it doesn't rain that often.

If you have $300 spare, please send this my way - I will make use of it

I really like my work i get paid shed loads for doing nothing but the hours are unusual and i can be away a lot and sometmes its boring listening to people with lots of money and big ego's, but the majority are nice.

A lot of us get well paid for doing fuck all, you just have'nt tapped into it yet Scott.

Because they pay me to be there and nothing untoward rarely happens just a bit of pushing and shoving getting in and out of places and if anything does happen i deal with it, so its mostly driving and waiting about but its a 24/7 on call job and that doesn't come cheap.To me its exciting and my boss she is close to me know so i dont feel its work.
