Do you have the rare 528/530/531 timetable (Bolton to Eagley/Egerton) from Deregulation - about October 1986?
Now you are going back a bit. I have just had a look at my list and I don't have that bugger.

When I was younger I collected Spectrum 48k games made by Mastertronic.
the 1.99 range or the 2.99 range?
As I used to collect the 2.99 range for my Commodore 64!
Actually saying that I still have my C64, C128 and CAmiga-500 back home in UK fully boxed with cassette/diskette drives, games and joysticks - wonder how much they are worth nowadays - I will see if they are working when I am home this coming week, as that should add value.

Both. I miss the classics like Jason's Gem, Kick Start 1&2, Wizards Warriors etc.

David Winter cottages, but stopped when he was bought out by a Japanese company. Best one I have (was) the Millenium Bay. Bought it for 300 last looked at the prices about 4 years ago and it was then 800. Missus knocked th cross of the top of the church a while back, and haven't a clue what its worth now. (I should really get my arse into gear and get it fixed, then I can sell it )

I have just wasted 60 seconds of my life Googling 'David Winter Cottages'.

I nearly didn't admit to it, out of sheer embarassment, I have to admit. I'm still attending the weekly clinic for it.

When I was a kid I collected WWF (wrestling) figures, before that, Star Wars figures. I was shocked the other week when someone posted a link to a mid-1980s Argos catalogue on Facebook and saw that the Millenium Falcon - the pride of any Star Wars collection - was only £29.99 - that was a fortune to a kid in the mid-1980s, nowadays there are kids who spend that in mobile phone credit in a week or two.
I started collecting CDs, keeping them in mint condition and so on, when I first became old enough to have an interest in decent music, in my early teens - 1990 onwards. I gave up though because my older brother would borrow them without my permission and scratch them.
Nowadays I guess I only collect two things, both of which are lame. DVDs and Blu Ray films, and pop bottle tops for recycling. My mother is on the committee of a social club and everyone who goes in there is collecting them for a lady who goes in who works in a care home and is saving them to buy someone a special wheelchair. So I build up a collection of bottle tops, and each time my mother visits, I start collecting them again.

Oh well when I was a teenager I bought a few compilation albums to start my collection off with a bit of variety (the worst purchase I made was Smash Hits 93) and then started collecting The Beatles studio albums.
I don't tend to buy CDs nowadays. My favourite current band is Franz Ferdinand, I bought their last studio album when that came out in 2009, and as soon as I got home I ripped a digital copy and probably haven't used the CD since, but beyond that I'm can't remember the last time I bought an actual physical CD.
I feel a lot differently with films for some reason. I have to own a physical copy.
I maintain a list of my all time 40 favourite films on my Facebook page, and nobody ever comments on it, so seeing as someone has asked me what films I like, I am excited enough to copy out the list (this is in a rough order of preference:
Taxi Driver, The Godfather, The Godfather Part II, The Producers (1968), Goodfellas, Jackie Brown, Midnight Cowboy, Raging Bull, The Graduate, Glengarry Glen Ross, Dog Day Afternoon, Planes, Trains & Automobiles, The Empire Strikes Back, Unforgiven, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Deer Hunter, Vertigo, The Incredible Shrinking Man, Casino, A Beautiful Mind, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, The Wizard of Oz, Casablanca, Gone Baby Gone, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, School of Rock, American Beauty, Pulp Fiction, Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, Scent of a Woman, The Dark Knight, The Conversation, Young Frankenstein, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Being John Malkovich, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Dirty Harry, The Last King of Scotland, The King of Comedy.
I hate narrowing it down to 40. I love great films! I am that sad, I will look back at this list later and have loads of regrets about the order and films that are missing. I could just as easily list 200, but nobody would read that. Some are there for sentimental reasons, like the Star Trek one and the Incredible Shrinking Man, because they remind me of my old man.

Love these.
American Beauty is my favourite film and Dog Day Afternoon isn't far behind.

I am impressed with anyone from today's younger generation who loves The Graduate.
It's a young man's film. I would have regretted it had I discovered it later in life.

One flew over the cukoos nest is a classic, I am surprised to see Star wars ep3 and empire strikes back in the same list, there was just something about episode 3 that I can't grow to like.

I couldn't argue Ep III is better than the original Star Wars, but I guess I was thinking about my favourite from each trilogy. Episode III was like some of the darkest concepts first mentioned in SW comics of my childhood brought to life.
